Check your sanctioned load — a 7.2 kW charger usually needs an upgrade.
Get written permission from your housing society for the parking spot.
Have a licensed electrician run a dedicated circuit with an RCD/RCCB.
Ask your DISCOM about a separate EV tariff, where available.
Costs
Expect ₹25,000–₹60,000 for a wall box and installation, depending on cable length. Many manufacturers include a charger with the car.
